How we met

Andrea and James met through a mutual friend (Mara) whilst at University. Andrea was studying Education at Notre Dame in Fremantle, and James was studying Computing, Mathematics and French at The University of Western Australia.

The proposal

James formally asked Andrea to marry him on bended knee, on the observation deck of the Empire State Building, New York. The first response was "Stand up, people are looking, stand up!", followed by "Yes!".

What we do

Andrea works as a year 1 primary school teacher (5/6 year olds), at an infant's school in London. She is also a Store Manager for the summer opening of Buckingham Palace. James is still playing with computers, working for an online advertising company, Vibrant Media.

The future

Andrea and James share a sense of adventure and have been on many great trips together. They look forward to spending the rest of their lives together, exploring the world and starting a family.

They currently live at Canary Wharf, in central London.
